3D Areola Tattoo

This ParaMedical micro-pigmentation procedure is used to correct the size, shape and color of areolas and has been an important restorative cosmetic procedure for many male and female breast cancer patients. This procedure is also a great option for those individuals who may not be fully pleased with the size, shape or color of their areola’s natural appearance. 1. What does recovery look like after 3D Areola tattooing?

a. In most cases, the treated area is generally healed within 7-10 days, however there are subtle changes in the pigment over the course of 4-6 weeks. Specific post care instructions will be provided.

2. How long is an average 3D Areola tattoo session?

a. The first session is generally 45 minutes to 90 minutes.

3. How many sessions are needed?

a. Number of sessions will vary patient to patient depending on severity of the area desired to be treated.

4. Does it hurt?

a. There is minimal discomfort during the treatment.

5. How long can I expect my results to last?

a. For most patients, the results will last 5 to 7 years if proper post care is followed. Some patients prefer to come in after 1 to 2 years for a color boost treatment.
